Victoria, BC's Spiritbox already gave us one of the most delightfully surprising collaborations of 2023 when they remixed of Megan Thee Stallion's "Cobra," and it looks like they're planning on continuing that hot streak this year: guitarist Mike Stringer has shared a studio update that sees the band recording with former Bring Me the Horizon keyboardist Jordan Fish.

In an Instagram Story, Stringer shared a black-and-white sneak peek of Fish in the studio with the metalcore band, tagging the ex-BMTH member and Spiritbox lead vocalist Courtney LaPlante.

Back in December, Fish announced his departure from BMTH after playing in the band since 2012. The split was seemingly amicable, with the keyboardist thanking his former bandmates and expressing excitement for both their future and the next chapter of his own career.

Spiritbox released their most recent work, an EP entitled The Fear of Fear (one of Exclaim!'s Best of 2023), last year. They have long been teasing the full-length follow-up to their acclaimed debut album, 2021's Eternal Blue.
