Soundtracks and scores are appreciated now perhaps more than ever, so it only makes sense that filmmakers would be reaching out to the greats for help. Following the news that Brian Eno is scoring a teen comedy, we've now learned that neoclassical composer Philip Glass is set to score the upcoming Fantastic Four film.

The upcoming Marvel reboot is being directed by Josh Trank, who recently sat down with Collider [via FACT] to discuss the project. In the article, Trank explains that Glass will handle the film's music alongside Marco Beltrami.

Trank also explained that David Cronenberg is a huge inspiration on the film, citing Scanners and The Fly as major influences. Watch a trailer for Fantastic Four below.

Philip Glass' score for the 1992 film Candyman was reissued late last year.
