The NBA season came to an early end for the rebuilding Toronto Raptors this year, and their young star Scottie Barnes seems to be making the most of his time off. The 22-year-old Florida native took the stage at a karaoke bar in Cancun, Mexico, last night to pour his heart out to a song almost as old as him.
Barnes was joined by a Raptors fan — whose brother shared the video to X (formerly Twitter) — in performing Maroon 5's 2002 hit "This Love."
Although the track didn't quite make Exclaim!'s karaoke staff picks, it's a surefire crowd-pleaser nonetheless.
What Barnes lacks in vocal talent, he makes up for with plenty of gusto, getting the audience fired up and joining in on his cover. Check out a quick snippet of his performance below.
