Prolific producer and composer Brian Eno continues to work late into his career, both through his own releases and work behind the boards for other artists. Eno's next venture will see him compose the score for a new film.
Called Me & Earl and the Dying Girl, the film was directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, who has previously worked on episodes of Glee and American Horror Story. The film follows the friendship between a young filmmaker and his classmate, whose struggling with leukemia.
The film's cast includes Parks & Rec's Nick Offerman, Friday Night Lights' Connie Britton and Molly Shannon, among others.
Eno has previously scores Wim Wenders' The Million Dollar Hotel and Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones.
After premiering at Sundance, Me & Earl and the Dying Girl is expected to arrive later this year.
