Just over a month removed from sharing their initial lineup, organizers behind Montreal's Igloofest have revealed that Kaytranada will also take part in their 2020 edition.
The Montreal-based producer will perform at Igloofest on February 1, returning to the festival after his 2018 appearance smashed previous opening night attendance records. You can find the fest's announcement and further ticketing information below.
Kaytranada is set to deliver his long-awaited sophomore album BUBBA on Friday (December 13). Arriving through RCA, the album features contributions from SiR, Mick Jenkins, Masego, VanJess, Estelle, Charlotte Day Wilson, GoldLink, Tinashe, Pharrell Williams and more.
BUBBA follows Kaytranada's Polaris Music Prize-winning album 99.9%, which arrived in 2016. Exclaim! recently named 99.9% one of the 50 Best Canadian Albums of the 2010s, while album cuts "Glowed Up" and "Lite Spots" were both named two of the 50 Best Canadian Songs of the 2010s.
Igloofest 2020 will run from January 16 to February 8 at the Jacques-Cartier Quay in the Old Port of Montreal. Kaytranada joins a lineup that already features the Blaze, Zeds Dead, Rüfüs Du Sol, Rezz and more.
