Long before telecom giant Rogers was made famous internationally by knocking out Canadian teleservices on that fateful day last July, @rogers.com used to be a pretty standard email handle. Lil Wayne apparently did not know this, and thought Drake's last name was "Rogers" for an undetermined period of time thanks to his email address.

One of the pair's first collaborations was 2009's "Ransom," where Lil Wayne rapped, "And I think his name was kinda like 'Drake Drizzy Rogers' / Or 'Drizzy Drake Rogers,' I'm too busy to play father." On the debut episode of Lil Yachty's A Moody Conversation Series, Yachty asked Drizzy if people still call him "Drake Drizzy Rogers." In response, he told him the whole story.

"My email was drizzydrake@rogers.com, Rogers was the service provider in Canada, and [Wayne] didn't realize the 'at' in the email was like a middle interference," he explained. "He just thought my name was Drizzy Drake Rogers. I mean he rapped it once, I just didn't have the heart to correct him."

The interview has other interesting tidbits, including Drake hinting at retirement and a few of his takes on the Toronto accent. Watch it below.
