Jorja Smith, a.k.a. FKA twigs' cousin, has announced her second full-length album. falling or flying is out on September 29 through FAMM.
This is the long-awaited follow-up to 2018's Lost & Found (which landed Smith on Exclaim!'s cover), and her first collection of new music since 2021's Be Right Back EP.
Much of the album came from sessions with production duo DAMEDAME* in Smith's hometown of Walsall, UK. Smith said in a statement, "This album is like my brain. There's always so much going on but each song is definitely a standstill moment."
That's the album cover up above. Smith hasn't revealed the tracklist for the album, but the recent singles "Try Me" and "Little Things" will be included. The album is available to preorder here.
