Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Chiiild, Dizzy, Serena Ryder & William Prince

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Nov 11, 2022

While a fight may have gone down earlier this week at Paramore's Toronto show, there's no fightin' here: we've scoured the internet for the week's best new Canadian music, which we've kindly compiled here for you.

Like Snoop Dogg before him, Chiiild is here to wish you greetings, friends — let's take a journey with "Bon Voyage." William Prince and Serena Ryder join forces, and Dizzy can't quiet their "Barking Dog," while Kimmortal exercises self-love on "I Can't Trust You."

New album releases this week come from Vancouver's Dumb (Pray 4 Tomorrow) and Montreal's Colin Stetson (Chimæra I). Elsewhere, Toronto's BAMBII falls in love in da club on "Ride with Me," Winnipeg's Tired Cossack tend to "Lilac Pain" and Vancouver-born Janette King mourns a slow-burn love loss with "Faded."

Let's settle any disagreements right here and now; there's something for everyone on The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
