BreakOut West returns to Kelowna, BC, this October, and organizers behind the event have announced the first wave of artists set to take part in their 2023 edition.
Now in its 21st year, the festival and industry conference will welcome over 60 artists to the host city, highlighting the best in emerging talent from across Western Canada, in addition to select international and Pan-Canadian acts.
The first wave of artists set to play BreakOut West 2023 includes (alphabetically) Actor Director, Alexis Norman, Ami Cheon, Andrina Turenne, Black Pontiac, Bria Rose N' Thorns, Crook the Kid, Gina Burgess, Gnarwhal, Khanvict, Kimmortal, Lev Snowe, So Sus, Teon Gibbs, the Garrys, the Lucky Ones, Vanstones and Wyatt C. Louis.
With further lineup announcements to come, festival wristbands are currently available at an early bird price of $17.31. Further scheduling and event details can be found via BreakOut West's official website.
Following prior celebrations in the city in 2010 and 2018, BreakOut West's 2023 edition runs October 12–14 at venues including the Black Box Theatre, BNA Brewing Co. Tasting Room, the Kelowna Curling Club, Kettle River Brewing Co., Metro Hub and Red Bird Brewing.
