Chicago's Dehd will release their new album Blue Skies this Friday (May 27), and today they've announced a world tour in support of the new material that includes shows in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal this fall.
They'll be playing Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on September 28, Montreal's Corona Theatre on October 26 and Toronto's Opera House on October 27.
They've also shared a video for new single "Window," the final single from Blue Skies following "Bad Love," "Stars," "Bop" and "Empty in My Mind." "Windows" is a tightly coiled, Emily Kempf-led juggernaut that also acts as the record's quasi-title track: "Blue skies / There's a hole in my window / I was wondering / How the rain was getting in," Kempf sings over the band's trademark guitar tones and rumbling drums.
The video features Kempf and a trio of dancers wigged in grey and rocking some backwoods cult garb. It was directed by Kempf and Kevin Veselka.
