Calgary Folk Music Festival's eighth annual ATB-powered winter ritual, Block Heater, returns February 9 to 12, 2023.
Over the course of four days and 13 events, 32 artists will perform — including Pierre Kwenders, Julie Doiron, OMBIIGIZI, Sister Ray, Hawksley Workman, Elliott BROOD, Clerel, Abigail Lapell, Margaret Glaspy, K-Riz, Kid Koala x Lealani, Aysanabee, Jesca Hoop, Cold Specks, Amy Nelson, Heartless Bastards, Damien Jurado, Vailhalen, Luca Fogale, the Milk Carton Kids, Lindy Vopnfjörd, the Deep Dark Woods, Steven Taetz, Hayden and more.
The concert series is taking place at multiple venues across the city, with performances lined up at the Palace Theatre, the Ironwood, Jack Singer Concert Hall, Central United Church, Festival Hall and Olympic Plaza.
