Toronto is certainly being well-represented in Nashville. Following the recent news that Death From Above 1979 were gearing up to record a Live at Third Man LP, we've now learned that Fucked Up will do the same.
The experimental hardcore juggernauts are currently on tour with DOOMSQUAD to promote their brand new Year of the Hare 12-inch. Working as one massive supergroup, they've been performing cuts from Fucked Up's full zodiac-themed EP series.
As previously reported, their tour includes a stop at Third Man Records on July 5. We've now learned that the store plans to record the set straight to acetate. As the label explains, Fucked Up will play songs from the zodiac series "at random," and the set will be recorded straight to acetate. Presumably that means a Live at Third Man release can't be far behind.
