Oppressively loud but poppy Toronto duo Death From Above 1979 will be the latest act to grace Third Man Records' famed Blue Room to record a live set there next month.

The label announced that Jesse Keeler and Sebastien Grainger head on out to Nashville to play a concert in the Blue Room on July 16. The band's set will be documented and cut "direct-to-acetate" for an upcoming vinyl release in the ongoing Live at Third Man series. Plans to issue the record are in the works, with Third Man noting in a statement that they "can't wait to see it, cut it, and share it with the world."

As previously reported, Death From Above 1979 are supporting their 2014 comeback LP, The Physical World, which came ten years after their first full-length, You're a Woman, I'm a Machine.

Tickets to the performance are on-sale now for $10 USD. The evening also includes a hot dog BBQ, which offers both veggie dogs and the kind with pigs anuses in them. If you want to grab yourself a ticket, you can do so here.

Last week saw the release of 'Live at Third Man' LPs from The Dutchess and the Duke and Peter Walker, while the concert series has also issued entries from the Black Lips, Shabazz Palaces, Parquet Courts, Divine Fits, Mudhoney, Jack Johnson and more.
