Yo La Tengo

"Ohm" (video)

Charitable indie crew Yo La Tengo will be selling some mix CDs this weekend to support those affected by Hurricane Sandy, but the band are also in the midst of doing some pre-release promotion for their next set, Fade. The group have now premiered a new video for album track "Ohm."

The video "stars" a tree in Portland, OR's Overlook Park, which also figures on the LP art. A lightly fuzzed number scores an average day in the life of the tree, and the vid chronicles visits from seagulls, a couple of people and the slow rise of nearby lights around evening-time.

As previously reported, Fade arrives January 15 through Matador. The band will also be heading on tour in 2013, and you can see those dates here.
