Of the many comebacks in the year 2023, Yo La Tengo's has been amongst the most triumphant. Today, the trio have released a new EP recorded at the Bunker Studio in Brooklyn aptly called The Bunker Sessions (via Matador Records).
The five-track collection sees live performances of four songs from the band's latest album, This Stupid World, as well as the classic "Stockholm Syndrome" from 1997's I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One.
Earlier this summer, Yo La Tengo wrapped a sold-out North American tour, and have another slew of US dates booked for early 2024 after their current run of shows in Japan and their annual Hanukkah residency in New York next month.
