Willie Nelson Plots Frank Sinatra Tribute Album 'My Way'

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 20, 2018

Willie Nelson has amassed an impressive catalogue of his own in his 85 years on this planet, but for his next release, he'll be paying homage to the songs of Frank Sinatra.

The singer-songwriter will release My Way on September 14 through Legacy Recordings.

The 11-track offering was produced by Buddy Cannon and Matt Rollings, and features Nelson accompanied by string and horn arrangements.

Amongst the songs covered on My Way are "Fly Me to the Moon," "One for My Baby (And One More for the Road)" and, of course, "My Way." He even enlists Norah Jones for a guest spot on "What Is This Thing Called Love."

"Summer Wind" is also featured on the record, and you can scroll past the full tracklisting to give Nelson's new version a listen.

Nelson's not the only folk great to put their own spin on the songs of Sinatra — Bob Dylan released covers albums Shadows in the Night and Fallen Angels 2015 and 2016, respectively.
