The Wedding Present Celebrate Bizarro with North American Tour, Play Toronto and Montreal

Seminal British indie pop/rock quartet the Wedding Present haven't really slowed down since forming nearly 25 years ago. In 2008, the band released El Rey, their eighth studio album, and have continued to remain active as a touring entity. Now, they've figured out a way to look back on their career without slowing down the momentum: announcing a retrospective tour for their classic album Bizarro.

This April, the band will embark on a North American tour to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Bizarro. The band's sophomore album was released in 1989, and to celebrate its release, the Wedding Present will perform the record in its entirety on a North American tour. The set of dates includes Canadian stops in Toronto and Vancouver.

Back in 2007, the band used a similar idea to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1987 album, George Best. If they keep this mathematical pattern going, they won't be celebrating their third LP, Seamonsters, until its 22nd anniversary in 2013. In other words, don't sleep on this opportunity to see them live.
