Snail Mail and Thurston Moore covered Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love" for Fender's latest ad in their "Best of the Decades" series. The ad is the third in the series promoting Fender's Vintera II line.

The musician born Lindsay Jordan and Moore's cover serves as the ad campaign's '70s installment. The company previously featured Madison Cunningham and Wendy Melvin covering the Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes for You" for the '50s, and Josh Klinghoffer and Nick Reinhart's cover of the Beatles' "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" for the '60s installment.

Jordan and Moore can be seen playing a Vintera II '60s Stratocaster and a Vintera II '70s Jaguar, respectively.
