Watch Chromatics' Stunning New "Dear Tommy" Video

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Aug 25, 2016

At this point, Chromatics' long-delayed Dear Tommy is turning into some sort of small-scale Chinese Democracy sort of deal. But after promised release dates have come and gone, we've again got a little bit closer to the follow-up to 2012's Kill for Love.

Today (August 25) Johnny Jewel and co. have shared a stunning video for Dear Tommy's title track. All delivered with a beautiful visual gloss, it gives us everything from frightful shattered glass, streaking blood and stunning images of the group's Ruth Radelet.

You can watch it play out below.

Unfortunately, though, we're still in the dark on when Dear Tommy is actually coming out. At one point, it was promised to arrive on Valentine's Day 2015, though that obviously didn't happen. However, we have got a lot of tracks from the album.

Besides the newly shared "Dear Tommy," we've heard "Just Like You," "I Can Never Be Myself When You're Around," "In Films" and "Shadow." Plus, the record's "Cherry" and "Camera" were shared on the After Dark 2 comp.

For now, check out that new video and the previously shared album tracklist below.

In related news, former Italians Do It Better co-owner Mike Simonetti recently threw out a ton of accusations towards Johnny Jewel. And keeping things on a more positive tip, Jewel also revealed he'll be scoring the new film Home.
