Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Unveil Space-y New Song "Juno"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jun 30, 2016

Hot on the heels of Weezer's own celebration of American space innovation, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have paired up to honour the Juno Mission with their own original song.

The Nine Inch Nails frontman and the British producer/composer have previously worked together on film scoring projects for The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Gone Girl, and now they've released a new track aptly titled "Juno" to mark Juno's arrival at Jupiter. NASA sent the titular spacecraft out back in 2011, and it's expected to reach Jupiter's orbit on July 4.

The dramatic eight-minute long piece is now available on iTunes and Apple Music, though you can listen to a snippet of it in a NASA trailer below. Don't expect Reznor to be uploading it to YouTube himself anytime soon.
