Travis Barker Dislocates Finger in Blink-182 Reunion Tour Rehearsals

The band's world tour is due to kick off in Mexico next month

With original guitarist Tom DeLonge back in the fold and an "elevated and progressive" new album in the works, Blink-182 are hard at work rehearsing for their upcoming world tour. Maybe a little too hard in the case of Travis Barker: the drummer dislocated one of his fingers behind the kit earlier this week.

"I was playing the drums at rehearsals yesterday and I smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments," Barker shared on Twitter yesterday (February 8).
That's certainly not the kind of smashing the band have long been advocates for — least of all Mr. Kardashian, the proud inventor of edging

Blink-182's first tour with DeLonge in nearly a decade is scheduled to begin in Mexico next month, with Canadian dates slated for May and June. It is currently unclear whether Barker's injury will impact any of the upcoming shows, but he did famously perform one-handed with +44 on The Late Show after breaking his wrist circa 2006.

The stepfather of contemporary pop-punk has also run into some health issues in more recent years, having been hospitalized for pancreatitis last summer.
