Continuing with celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2003 landmark album Elephant, Jack White's own Third Man Books has released The White Stripes Complete Lyrics — a collection of lyrics, rough drafts, photographs, alternate lyrics and more.
The collection contains rare material spanning from the White Stripes' formation in 1997 through their final album together in 2007. The 300-page book marks the first time White's original lyrics for the White Stripes have been compiled.
Additionally, there are exclusive essays on the band's influence by Hanif Abdurraqib, Ben Blackwell and Caroline Randall Williams, which should help keep any resurgences in "Is Meg White a good drummer?" discourse at bay.
