Horseshoe Tavern Adds Planet Smashers, Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs, Birds of Bellwoods to "Hootenanny" Livestreams

The Toronto venue has scheduled three new virtual events

The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern has announced the latest edition of its Horseshoe "Hootenanny" livestream series, welcoming Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungsthe Planet Smashers and Birds of Bellwoods.  
 
Celebrating the launch of their latest LP Real One, Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs will first perform on March 19. Coffey and bandmates have created a record rich in anthemic and ambitious tunes, celebrating love, commitment and community. UPDATE (6/14, 2:50 p.m. ET): The Horseshoe "Hootenanny" livestream series has been updated in accordance with Ontario's COVID-19 gathering restrictions. The new schedule is below.

The following day, on March 20, Montreal's Planet Smashers will take to the Horseshoe stage. Celebrating a quarter-century of worldwide touring, non-stop partying and extremely questionable life decisions, Planet Smashers promise to bring nothing but a good time as they rock out with their ninth full-length album, Too Much Information. You can grab livestream tickets to see the Planet Smashers here
 
Finally, on April 16, Toronto-based indie rockers Birds of Bellwoods will also make their "Hootenanny" debut. Having amassed an impressive pile of achievements and accolades in a few short years, Birds of Bellwoods are inviting listeners to join the band's high-energy musical parade as they cover their debut LP from late 2018, Victoria. Grab your livestream tickets to see Birds of Bellwoods here
