The Darcys, Bear Mountain and the Beaches Team Up for "WayHome for the Holidays" Show

WayHomies missing the days of summer in Oro-Medonte will get a chance to relive their festival memories and make some new ones at a special event this holiday season. The Ontario festival has revealed plans for a new festive show dubbed "WayHome for the Holidays" set to take place in Toronto.

The holiday-themed party will take place on November 23 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre and boasts a lineup of live music that will include sets from Darcys, Bear Mountain and the Beaches.

In addition to tree-trimming and holiday décor, attendees will also be able to take part in a donation-based "pick a present" game for a chance to win prizes — including tickets to the 2017 edition of WayHome. Donations are in support of MusiCounts, a Canadian charity promoting music education.

Tickets for "WayHome for the Holidays" go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time and will be available for $20; $1 from each ticket will be donated to MusiCounts.

In addition to the WayHome-affiliated event, Darcys have also just announced a run of North American tour dates, which you can see here.

WayHome's 2017 summer festival is scheduled to return to Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte from July 28 to 30.
