The Breeders marked the 20th anniversary of Last Splash a few years back, but it looks as if they might have some fresher material to celebrate soon.
The Kim Deal-led band revealed a short snippet of new music this morning (September 29) on Twitter. The 10-second clip features a repeated guitar riff and the shouted refrain of "Good morning!" Listen to it below.
It seems to signal that a full single should be on the way soon. The Breeders last full-length release arrived as Mountain Battles in 2008. They followed it up with an EP titled Fate to Fatal in 2009.
In addition to the snippet of new music, the band also have a run of upcoming European and United States tour dates on the horizon. See their upcoming itinerary here.
