Alt-rock vets the Breeders hit Toronto in just over a week's time as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations behind Last Splash, but there's now at least one more Canadian date on Deal sisters' horizon. A new show stop has been added in Vancouver.
A press release confirms that the act will make their way to the city's Commodore Ballroom on August 31, with tickets going on sale next Friday (May 10). The special guests have yet to be announced. More tour dates are apparently on the way, but you can see the Breeders' current schedule, which now includes a few more U.S. dates and an Australian leg, down below.
UPDATE: All the Breeders' updated tour dates have now been announced, including an appearance at Montreal's Osheaga and several U.S. stops in August.
Last week, the band released their girthy LSXX box set through 4AD. It's available in both seven-LP and three-CD editions, and features the album proper and a bunch of live tracks, demos and b-sides.
