Tame Impala Readying New Album for 2015

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 6, 2015

Tame Impala haven't been entirely dormant since the release of 2012's Lonerism, but fans of the psychedelic rockers will be glad to know that the band are set to return with a new album in 2015.

Since releasing their last LP, the band have shuffled their lineup, put out a limited-edition live EP and played heaps upon heaps of tour dates. Frontman Kevin Parker even teamed up for a collaboration with Mark Ronson. But this year will apparently see the Australian band get back into album mode according to an email from management company Spinning Top Music.

As Consequence of Sound points out, the missive states: "There will be new albums from POND, Tame Impala, the Growl, Gunns and Fascinator, as well as tours and shows a plenty from everyone across the Spinning Top roster!"

As we await further details on the release and upcoming tour dates, relive the band's breakthrough single "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" below.
