The buzz keeps building behind Mark Ronson's forthcoming Uptown Special, and the producer is drumming up more hype by previewing the set's Tame Impala-employing disco track, "Daffodils."
Vocalist Kevin Parker drops daffodils throughout the piece, announcing as much with a floaty falsetto. The preciousness of his pipes is juxtaposed with a full-bodied four-on-the-floor beats, the bell-bottomed jingling of funk guitars and nasty synth leads.
The track is available to stream down below, while it lands into stores with the rest of the LP on January 27 via RCA Records.
