A$AP Rocky's arrest in Sweden continues to cause a massive headache for the rapper. He has been locked up since July 3, when he was involved in a street brawl.

UPDATE (08/28, 4:30 p.m. EST): A$AP Rocky was ordered released from jail at the conclusion of today's assault trial. A judge ruled the rapper and two co-defendants could remain free while they awaited a verdict, expected to be handed down on August 14.

Rocky posted a message to Instagram following the ruling, thanking "FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME" for "ALL OF THE LOVE AND SUPPORT." You can find that below.

Following the news, United States president Donald Trump wrote on Twitter, A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden. It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!

A trial is currently underway, and despite Rocky's testimony that he was acting in self-defense, a prosecutor is recommending jail time.

Today, the prosecutors wrapped up their closing statements by recommending jail time for the rapper born Rakim Mayers. Specifically, they recommended at least a six-month jail sentence for the altercation.

The brawl reportedly took place after born 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari and his friend refused to leave the A$AP Rocky's entourage alone despite repeated requests. Apparently it started when they got into an argument at a restaurant near Stockholm.

Everyone from Kanye West to Donald Trump has spoken out for Swedish police to free Rocky. If the rapper does get locked up, it looks like Machine Gun Kelly won't be eating Swedish Fish for a while
