Ahead of frying minds on their North American tour, drone metal masters Sunn O))) have announced an upcoming concert effort. Recorded last year in Moscow, their НЕЖИТЬ: живьём в России 11 августа 2015 triple live album hits turntables at the end of May.
A press release notes that the album, which's title translates to English as NOLIFE: Alive in Moscow 11 August 2015, was recorded last summer at Sunn O)))'s first-ever performance in Moscow. The show took place at the Russian Federation, where the band's performance was recorded directly through the soundboard and by an audience member. The two recordings were later merged and mixed at Portland's Audiosiege facility by Joel Grind and mastered by Brad Boatright.
While a tracklisting for the three-disc behemoth is not available, the performance is described as "extremely raw, punishingly loud, and ultimately transcendental." The records are being housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket, which will also include a digital download code. That is the cover art up above.
