Last month, we learned of Steve Earle & the Dukes' cover album tribute for the late Justin Townes Earle, and today, the group have shared a new cut from the record in a cover of Earle's "Champagne Corolla."
The original "Champagne Corolla" appeared on Earle's 2017 album Kids in the Street, and the elder Earle's version is set to appear on the tribute album J.T., along with the previously released "Harlem River Blues."
The 10-song J.T. will arrive through New West Records on January 4, which would have been Justin Townes Earle's 39th birthday. As previously reported, 100 percent of artist advances and royalties will go to a trust for Justin's daughter, Etta St. James Earle.
Justin Townes Earle passed away in August at age 38.
