Sled Island Reveals Full 2022 Lineup with Built to Spill, Backxwash, Chad VanGaalen, Grouper, Low and More

Joyce Manor, Julie Doiron, R.A.P. Ferreira, Mortiferum, Necking, Motherhood, Crystal Eyes and more will also perform

After rolling out its initial lineup in March, Sled Island Music & Arts Festival has revealed the festival's full list of performing artists joining the event from June 22 to 26 in Calgary.

Joining this year's festivities are Built to Spill, Grouper, Joyce Manor, Low, Chad VanGaalen, La Luz, L.A. Witch, Backxwash, Julie Doiron, R.A.P. Ferreira, Mortiferum, Body Void, Mares of Thrace, Worse, Necking, Big Rig (Jen Payne of the Courtneys' new project), Little Destroyer, Motherhood, Wine Lips, Motorists, Janette King, Heaven for Real, Marlaena Moore and Hélène Barbier.

Local Calgarian talent round out the bill, with DRI HIEV, Sunglaciers, Crystal Eyes, Samantha Savage Smith, Stripmall, Brain Bent, Tea Fannie, Dragon Fli Empire, sean beaver and Stucco joining the roster as well.

They'll join the list of previously announced artists, which includes Princess Nokia, Alex Cameron, SASAMI, Zoon, OMBIIGIZI, Pantayo, Circuit des Yeux, Lavender Country, Uranium Club, Ghostkeeper, Little Snake, Gus Englorehorn, JOYFULTALK and more. 

The 2022 edition of Sled Island is guest curated by Los Angeles experimentalist Sudan Archives, who brings Teebs, Suzi Analogue, Ahya Simone, Sufyvn, AllCityJimmy, Queens D. Light, Swooty Mac, Kesswa and Cat 500 along for the ride. 

Festival passes are already on sale, with additional single-day tickets opening up on Friday (May 6) at 12 p.m. MT.
