Earlier this year, Run the Jewels opened for Jack White at Madison Square Garden in New York, and the musicians posed for a backstage photo together. Now, White has linked up with rappers once again, and it seems that he might be making a cameo on their next album.
Although nothing has been confirmed just yet, White evidently met up with the rappers last night (October 5) when they swung through Nashville for a live show. They posed for the above photo, in which White, Killer Mike and El-P are all holding their hands in Run the Jewels' signature "fist and gun position."
The most tantalizing part is in the hashtags, as Third Man Records' tweet about the meet-up was tagged "RTJ3JW." Run the Jewels had already indicated that they were working on their album Run the Jewels 3.
Stay tuned for more details about the team-up if and when they emerge.

Of course, it's also entirely possible that Run the Jewels were recording a single for White's Third Man label (like Courtney Barnett just did) or that they were just hanging out as friends. That "RTJ3JW" hashtag, however, leads us to think that they met up on album-related business.
