Former Vampire Weekend member Rostam is about to deliver a new album called Changephobia. We've heard the album's title track, along with "These Kids We Knew" and "4Runner." Now, we get yet another taste with "From the Back of a Cab."

The song has arrived with a particularly literal interpretation via a music video that sees Rostam and some friends chilling in the back of a cab. Throughout the video, you'll spot HAIM, Charli XCX, Kaia Gerber, Seth Bogart, Remi Wolf, Bryce Willard Smithe, Samantha Urbani, Wallows, Ariel Rechtshaid and Nick Robinson.

"'From the Back of a Cab' is probably my favourite song that I've written. It started with the 12/8 drums — something you find in Persian music and African music," Rostam said in a statement. "I built the song around those drums over time, writing the piano part in my living room, the melodies and lyrics on foot walking in New York and Tokyo, on California's highways, and on the flights and car trips between all those places."

Changephobia is due out via Matsor Projects/Secretly Distribution on June 4. Rostam's last proper album was 2017's Half-Light.
