Days ahead of celebrating his 75th birthday, Rod Stewart has announced plans to team up with Cheap Trick for a North American summer tour.

The two acts will kick off the 21-city trek in Ohio on July 21. A lone Canadian stop follows after, bringing Stewart and Cheap Trick to Toronto's Budweiser Stage on July 24.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the public on Friday (January 10) — which happens to be Sir Rod's birthday — at 10 a.m. local time. Further ticketing details can be found here.

Stewart released the collaborative album You're in My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra last November.
