Cancer Bats
 
Coming off a run of dates on the east coast in advance of their "Good Ol Canadian Rip" tour, Cancer Bats have lined up three dates in Quebec to round out a month of support for their fifth full-length, Searching for Zero. Starting in Sherbrooke on the 29th, fans can bang their heads to the crew's thunderous hardcore in Quebec City and Montreal the following two evenings.

Deafheaven
 
With an influence already reaching far beyond the realm of metal alone, Deafheaven continue on a month-long tour in support of their latest acclaimed disc, New Bermuda. The only Canadian stops on the current leg are back-to-back evenings in Toronto and Montreal to start the month of November.

Halsey
 
Set to join the Weeknd and Travis Scott on the former's "The Madness Fall Tour" in late November, Astralwerks singer-songwriter Halsey is bringing her debut album Badlands to Ontario and Quebec to start the month. Fans can catch her at Montreal's Metropolis on November 2 and Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre the following evening.

Mac DeMarco
 
Currently on a world tour, Canada's favourite gap-toothed slacker brings his band home for a string of dates in the western provinces this week. Though back-to-back performances at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom are already listed as sell-outs, Mac DeMarco devotees can catch the man in Calgary on November 2 before he travels through Edmonton and Saskatoon the following two evenings.

Having recently announced more work as one half of Sepalcure, Machinedrum has two DJ sets lined up in Western Canada to wrap up the month. Fans can take in his talents as a selector at Vancouver's Fortune Sound Club on October 29 and Edmonton's Union Hall on October 30.

Rich Aucoin is bringing his renowned multimedia spectacle to the province of Quebec to close out the month with two intimate dates. Those looking to take part in his engaging live performance can find him at Bar Le Cha Cha in Sainte-Thérèse-de-Blainville on October 29 before he makes the trek to Sherbrooke for a performance at Bar Le Magog the next night.
