Rammstein Book First North American Tour in a Decade

German metal outfit Rammstein are the kings of controversy. Most recently, censors had their 2009 LP, Liebe ist für alle da, pulled off the shelves due to its gruesome cover art (it was later replaced). That album was also released as a box set with six dildos modelled after the band members' penises. We can only imagine what kind of crazy hijinks Rammsteinwill get up to when they hit the road this May for their first North American tour in a decade.

Despite their worldwide popularity, Rammstein rarely make it to this side of the Atlantic. Last year, they played a small handful of one-off shows -- one in Quebec City, one in Montreal and another in New York. Now, they're going on a full-fledged tour with nine dates.

Although the outing is short, it includes three Canadian appearances: Montreal, Toronto and Edmonton. See the schedule below, and let's hope those North American border guards don't put a damper on things.

Tour dates:

5/5 East Rutherford, NJ - Izod Center
5/7 Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
5/8 Toronto, ON - Air Canada Centre
5/10 Chicago, IL - Allstate Arena
5/13 Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place
5/15 Seattle, WA - Tacoma Dome
5/18 Oakland, CA - Oracle Arena
5/20 Los Angeles, CA - The Forum
5/21 Las Vegas, NV - Thomas & Mack Center
