Celebrating Canadian music in the iconic landscape of Northern Ontario's starry skies, pine trees and open water, River & Sky Music/Camping Festival is back for its 14th edition this July 21 to 24 at Fishers' Paradise.

Nestled between North Bay and Sudbury, the Field, ON, event will play host to around 45 acts on the banks of the Sturgeon River. Today, the fest has confirmed the big news: Pink Mountaintops, Austra and Dilly Dally are officially locked in as the 2022 headliners.

The first-wave lineup announcement also includes OMBIGIIZI, Tush, Casper Skulls, You Doo Right, Ouri, Young Guv and more. In addition to the music, the festival will feature visual art installations, 20 crafters, 20-plus skill-building and arts-focused workshops and locally-sourced food vendors.

River & Sky will be operating at full capacity this year and while vaccines won't be required, festival-goers will have the option of staying in designated masked camping areas. Masks will also be encouraged at all stages, and attendees will be provided with a self-administered rapid test if they so desire.

"Given the situation and the state of the pandemic last year, we decided to require one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination for entry to the festival," Executive Director Abigail Cassio said in a release. "As things have now changed and the vaccination rate in Canada has risen, we feel comfortable not requiring a minimum dose."

She added: "It's been a bit crazy to say the least, but I am beyond excited to be able to welcome back our community again, in a more normal capacity! We have a lot of great Canadian bands coming, and I think that there's something for everyone in this year's lineup."

Advance passes are on sale here, with single-day passes starting at $45.00. Three-, four- and five-day camping and festival passes begin at $190.00, while children 14 and under get in for free.
