Toronto-bred electroclash star Peaches' new album Rub includes a guest appearance from Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon on the track "Close Up," and now that opening cut has gotten a video.
The song is a brash electronic track full of a jackhammer beats and half-spoken vocals, including singing from Gordon. The Sonic Youth icon is also in the accompanying semi-NSFW video, appearing as Peaches' trainer as she prepares for a wrestling match. Following a workout sequence, the match uses bodily excretions rather graphically and ends in a make-out session.
