Having already axed a tour of Europe and further dates in Australia, New Zealand and Japan this year, Ozzy Osbourne has now postponed all of his forthcoming 2019 tour dates, including all his scheduled Canadian concerts.
A press release notes that the decision was made as Osbourne recovers from an injury sustained while dealing with a recent bout of pneumonia, revealing the artist aggravated years-old injuries after falling in his Los Angeles home. Osbourne was hospitalized in February due to "complications from the flu."
"I can't believe I have to reschedule more tour dates," Osbourne wrote in a statement. "Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I'm grateful for the love and support I'm getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it's really what's keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!"
Osbourne's camp have already mapped out rescheduled North American dates for 2020, which you can find below. Concertgoers are asked to keep their original tickets, which will be honoured at the makeup shows. Dates for Europe and the U.K. will be announced in the coming weeks.
Last fall, Osbourne cancelled dates of his North American farewell tour due to "multiple infections." He later revealed that he had three staph infections in this right thumb.
