Non La — the indie pop project of Vancouver's DJ On — has shared their plans for a new record. Like Before is set for release on March 29 via Mint Records.
If 2021's Not in Love was about longing, Like Before answers what happens when one attains their desires. This is seen on new single "Hurtful," which accompanies the album announcement.
"With this song I wanted to capture the nuances of non-monogamy," On said of the track via press release. "However, I think I ended up expressing this feeling that is familiar in every relationship, romantic or not: that there could be some new, exciting distraction that threatens what you have."
Life Before will follow "Homes," the one-off single released in November.
