Newport Jazz Festival Welcomes André 3000, Brittany Howard, Elvis Costello and More to 2024 Edition

Kamasi Washington, Laufey, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Lianne La Havas, Makaya McCraven, Sun Ra Arkestra and more will also perform

Newport Jazz Festival is returning for its 70th-anniversary edition this year, running August 2 to 4 at Fort Adams State park in Rhode Island.

In celebration of 70 years of music, this year's fest will feature performances from André 3000, Brittany Howard, Elvis Costello, Kamasi Washington, Laufey, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Lianne La Havas, Makaya McCraven, Sun Ra Arkestra and many, many more.

Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper and Kamasi Washington will each play their own set in addition to performing as their collaborative project Dinner Party. Other all-star ensembles include Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington and Ravi Coltrane, who will be honouring the Legacy of Wayne Shorter, while Newport Jazz Artistic Director Christian McBride will assemble an airtight cast for his annual Jam Jawn.

Specially priced three-day tickets are on sale today (April 9), for 24 hours only. All other ticket types go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10, at 1 p.m. ET, and are available here.
