Will Butler has earned his first two Tony nominations for his score for the Broadway play Stereophonic.
The musician has been nominated for Best Orchestrations alongside Justin Craig and Best Original Score. These are only two of 13 nominations the play has garnered.
Stereophonic follows a band about to break in the mid-'70s as they record their first smash album. The news follows Will Butler + Sister Squares' self-titled album, which was released in September.
