Mineral and Hum Announce Co-Headlining West Coast Tour

Resuscitated Austin emo outfit Mineral have revealed the next leg of tour dates of their current reunion run, with a West Coast tour bringing them into Canada come September. Sweetening the deal, it's a co-headlining tour with shoegazing '90s alt-rock outfit Hum.

Mineral are following up last fall's brief stretch of Eastern U.S. dates with a handful of concerts spread across the left coast. This includes a stop with Hum at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on September 21, marking the first Canadian appearance from Mineral since the band got back together in 2014.

Last fall saw the release of Mineral's 1994-1998: The Complete Collection, a two-disc compendium that brought together the band's The Power of Failing and EndSerenading LPs, as well as a few singles and unreleased material. You'll find an alternate take of The Power of Failing's "Parking Lot" down below.

Hum, meanwhile, gave 1998's beloved cult classic Downward Is Heavenward LP a vinyl re-release last year.
