Seminal Austin emo group Mineral have popped up for the odd reunion run over the years, but they've now taken things to the next level. Lest you think the emo revival isn't real, they've just shared their first song in 20 years.
Mineral have shared a stunning eight-minute epic called "Aurora." It touches on all of the emo and indie rock elements that Mineral fans have come to love, and the song can be streamed below.
"Aurora" will be released as part of One Day When We Are Young, a hardcover book that includes a 10-inch EP. The record will include "Aurora," along with the other new song "Your Body Is the World."
One Day When We Are Young can be pre-ordered here. It will arrive on January 4 via House Arrest.
What's more, Mineral also have some hefty 2019 tour plans. In addition to a pile of U.S. and overseas dates, the band will play Toronto early next year. You can see the full schedule down below.
