Mark Ronson Working with Sean Lennon in New Band

As we reported late last year, soulful super-producer Mark Ronson has been building up quite the repertoire of names to his already impressive list of collaborators. Besides the usual suspects like Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, Ronson has also been connected to Elton John, Richard Swift and guitarist Slash. Now Ronson, a step-son of Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones, is collaborating with another son of a famous rock star. Namely, John Lennon's youngest, Sean.

Sean Lennon is currently fronting a band called Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger with his girlfriend, model Charlotte Kemp Muhl. In an interview with the Daily Star, Ronson revealed that he'd be producing the project and playing bass for it. "It's a '60s psych thing, quite Brazilian, with Sean and his girlfriend singing in unison," he told the paper.

While no release date has been confirmed for the group's debut, they currently have some tracks streaming on their Myspace page.
