Mac DeMarco's last full-length effort arrived in 2014 with Salad Days, but the Canadian jangle popster (and TMZ celebrity) has reportedly finished work on the follow-up.
He shared a video on Instagram last night (December 27), celebrating the album's completion by popping champagne and announcing: "That's a wrap, motherfucker!"
The hashtag-abusing caption for the clip reads: "#that's a #wrap. Just finished #Mixin the new #disc. Time for some #champers."
Shags Chamberlain and DeMarco's girlfriend Kiera McNally were tagged in the post, though their exact involvement with the latest musical material has yet to be detailed.
The post ended off with a nod to the late Carrie Fisher, with DeMarco writing: "RIP Carrie, I'll never forget ya, god bless."
