Lupe Fiasco released his most recent album DROGAS Wave last year, but the artist is only just now giving us the first video in support of the effort. The clip is for the album's "Cripple," and you can check it out now.

The song comes features Elena Pinderhughes, and its video keeps things black and white with just a burst of colour. Within, there are a whole lot of cityscapes, an impassioned Lupe and more than a few split screens.

Watch the video for "Cripple" play out for yourself below.

Fiasco previously explained the following of his album:

DROGAS Wave is based on a story about a group of slaves that jumped off of a slave ship transporting them from Africa," he explained in a statement. "The slaves did not drown, and instead somehow managed to live under the sea. They spent the rest of their underwater existence sinking slave ships. 'Drogas' is the Spanish word for drugs. I made it an acronym which stands for 'Don't Ruin Us God Said."

DROGAS Wave
is out now via 1st & 15th/Thirty Tigers.
