Lupe Fiasco has set a release date for his eighth studio effort. The Chicago artist will share Drill Music in Zion on June 24 via 1st & 15th and Thirty Tigers.

Following 2018's Drogas WaveDRILL MUSIC IN ZION is previewed today by first single "Autoboto," featuring Nayirah. The song was produced by Lupe's recurring collaborator Soundtrakk, who also worked alongside Nayirah on her 2017 release Goddess Flow.

An abstract for the record notes that DRILL MUSIC IN ZION was fully produced by Soundtrakk, after Lupe laid vocals over selections from a folder of beats to create the album in only three days. The MC shares, "Soundtrakk is the swordmaker, I'm the samurai. He's the mechanic, and I'm the driver."

Physical editions of DRILL MUSIC IN ZION — in CD, black vinyl and indie exclusive blue vinyl formats — will follow the initial digital release on August 26, and are now available for pre-order.

Last year, Lupe joined Toronto hip-hop royalty at the Toronto Raptors' home opener.
