Earlier this year, we learned that Montreal singer-songwriter Laurel Sprengelmeyer would be delivering her "crazy beast" of a sophomore album as Little Scream — and now details on the upcoming record have emerged. Titled Cult Following, the new LP is set to arrive on May 6 on Dine Alone Records in Canada and on Merge in the rest of the world.
For the new material, Sprengelmeyer has enlisted the help of an impressive array of artists that includes Sufjan Stevens, Sharon Van Etten, Aaron and Bryce Dessner of the National, Owen Pallett, Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio, Mary Margaret O'Hara, and Arcade Fire's Richard Reed Parry.
